The Watson College Advising Office, located on the second floor of the Engineering Building, provides basic advising services for students. No question or concern is unimportant, and seeking accurate information is a valuable part of your academic experience.

The Department for Student Transition and Success supports students' academic, personal and professional development as they transition through their Binghamton collegiate experience. Peer and professional success coaches support student learning through personalized one-on-one coaching appointments, workshops and access to virtual resources. They are trained to identify potential barriers to academic success and collaboratively construct a tailored success plan for each student.

The Dean of Students CARE Team (Consultation, Advocacy, Resources/Referrals and Education) is available to help students with a variety of issues. The CARE Team works to empower students and attend to their needs holistically through education and personal development. The CARE team supports and helps students find a path to success. Case managers often help students find solutions to complex problems and help students cope with complex situations. The case manager works with the student to identify their struggles and potential solutions by discussing resources. The CARE Team also coordinates the 20:1 Interpersonal Violence Prevention Program peer education internship.

University Tutorial Services offers FREE tutoring sessions to Binghamton University undergraduate students. Peer tutors work with students in small groups to help practice and better understand course content. Tutoring sessions are by appointment only. Detailed directions on how to schedule an appointment can be found on our website.

SEEK (Support, Empathy, Empowerment, Kindness) is an entirely student-run service for Binghamton University students to talk through any issue they may be facing. This service is a free, SA-chartered, private resource.
