Binghamton University Dining Services dietitians
Binghamton University Dining Services provides a variety of menu options for students who have food allergies, food intolerances, and/or other special dietary needs. Our registered dietitians are available to meet and discuss dining options, accommodations, and resources on campus.
The dietitians also provide free and confidential nutrition counseling for a variety of topics, including basic nutrition guidelines, eating healthy on and off campus, nutritional supplements, eating on the run, pre- and post-workout foods, guidelines for vegetarians, general health and wellness, food allergies and more.

From indoor to outdoor, team sports to individual activities, open recreation to credit classes, Campus Recreation offers countless ways for students to get and stay active. The Rec Center at the East Gym is the center of recreational programming on campus, and includes a fitness center, gym, wellness suite, pool, ropes course and turf complex.

Health Promotion and Prevention Services (HPPS) provides health education and prevention services related to common college health topics such as physical activity, mental health, sexual and reproductive health, interpersonal violence, and alcohol, tobacco and other drug use. HPPS coordinates the Mental Health Outreach Peer Educators (M-HOPE), the Real Education About College Health (REACH) peer education internship, the 20:1 Interpersonal Violence Prevention Program peer education internship, and houses the the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Office.
As part of health education, HPPS provides safer sex supplies and menstrual care products for free. Students can find them on the third floor of Academic B. There are also external condom dispensers located in the women’s, men’s and gender neutral restrooms of the Union in Tillman Lobby (by Dunkin Donuts). There is also one dispenser in the gender neutral restroom at Campus Recreation. Additionally, students can order supplies online.
